HEALTH DESIGN PUBLICATION : LITTLE WOMEN

In this zine publication 'Little Women,' I worked as part of a four-person team, co-designing alongside four respected older women from Yaletown House in Vancouver. 'Little Women' recounts the collective life stories of these elders and was printed using risograph. We were honored to have the opportunity to engage in valuable conversations with the co-designers and to visualize their life stories through publication design.
The concept of the zine revolves around a board game analogy, as we perceive life as similar to a game. We accrue experience as we progress and encounter challenges at various stages, mirroring life's journey. Consequently, readers can delve into the underlying theme we aim to convey through the graphic elements. Within this zine, we employ various elements to embody the concept, incorporating collage, typography, and illustration to narrate the story.
